THE TEAM
Each of our therapists are highly skilled professionals with a variety of areas knowledge and expertise
I believe we all are inherently good people who face struggles in life that challenge our understanding of ourselves and others. In these moments, we have the choice to cling to rigid, limiting, outdated, or unfair thoughts about ourselves and others, or we can become resilient through our capacity to learn new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving in our lives that align with our goodness and goals. You can do it, and my job is to help you on that journey!
I have a dual master’s degree in social work and marriage and family therapy. I also have over 10 years of experience helping individuals and families. To be your therapist is a privilege, and I look forward to helping you accomplish your therapeutic goals
Shea McTaggart, Psy.D
Neuropsychologist, Director of Assessment
As a neuropsychologist, my approach to therapy is based on an empathic connection with clients and involves a holistic approach that integrates client’s unique backgrounds, family dynamics, strengths, and interests combined with a comprehensive understanding of brain functioning.
I draw from 23 years of experience in various mental health settings provide a collaborative treatment approach with unique brain-based interventions. I work with patients to identify recurring themes and patterns of thoughts, feelings, self-concept, relationships and life experiences with an emphasis on how past experiences contribute to recurring patterns of behavior and relationships.
Sometimes in life we find ourselves feeling lost or stuck or maybe we have experienced a great loss or trauma. While friends and family can offer support and solace during these times, developing a relationship with the right therapist can offer a unique and safe space to work through these problems in a way that can’t always be done with loved ones.
I take an integrative and non-judgmental approach with my clients and create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients to explore and grow. I am also trained in DBT skills and specialize in providing EMDR for trauma and other issues.
The relationship we have with ourselves is the greatest we will experience throughout our lifetime. I believe therapy is an investment in that relationship. The therapeutic relationship provides an opportunity to safely venture into self-exploration with curiosity, compassion, and understanding. As we begin to unveil the old patterns we have unconsciously been stuck in, we notice not only an increase in our own self-awareness, but we also feel empowered to make shifts in how we relate to others and engage in life. I work to create a space that encourages clients to bring all aspects of themselves because I know that true understanding and transformation begins when we give ourselves permission to fully feel and express ourselves.
My approach to psychotherapy is both client-centered and evidence-based. Using a collaborative processes, we may review and learn a number of tools and techniques that can help with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, or crisis. I also engage many clients through depth work that may speak to the human experience in profound ways, including existential themes, values, meaning-making, and spirituality. My background in the Humanistic & Existential traditions often emerges early in our work, as we delve deep into your current concerns and your background.
I specialize in working with mens mental health issues and often work with clients in the legal, STEM, education, and medical professions, as well as athletes, creatives, and college or graduate students.
As a compassionate therapist with a straightforward style, I am dedicated to guiding clients on their journey towards well-being. With expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal psychotherapy, and neurofeedback, I offer a well-rounded approach to mental wellness. My practice is grounded in integration, blending evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of biological and brain-based processes. Together, we'll navigate your challenges, cultivate resilience, and uncover pathways to a fulfilling life.

Claire Cooper, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment and family systems theories. Understanding that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, I will also incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) when needed.
Through individual, couple, or family therapy, I will support you in gaining a new understanding of yourself and your relationships. Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan that will guide our work towards achieving your, your significant other's, or your family’s goals.
I believe that each person brings a unique story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, and the challenges they’ve faced. I see therapy as a collaborative process—you are the expert on your life, and I’m here to support and guide you as we explore what’s working, what’s not, and where you'd like to go. My approach is individualized and relationship-centered, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship distress, and issues unique to the LGBTQ+ population. I firmly believe in the importance of understanding how our past experiences and family dynamics shape who we are as unique individuals and I’m committed to providing a safe, affirming space for individuals of all races, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
Having worked in corporate settings for over a decade, I understand firsthand how the stress, speed, and complexity of today’s modern work environment can deeply impact our daily lives. Beyond the workplace, the demands of family, friendships, and personal responsibilities often add layers of complexity that leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected.
In our work together, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can begin to identify the patterns that contribute to your stress and discover new ways of approaching life’s challenges. Transformation begins with recognizing these patterns, experimenting with new strategies, and making meaningful changes to your environment. Through this process, you can achieve a deeper sense of balance, resilience, and fulfillment in both your personal and professional life.
I help to support our therapist team, while also working to connect you with the right therapist to best fit your needs.
Additionally, my goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are at and work collaboratively beside you on your journey toward your goals. I take on a non-judgmental and integrative approach to therapy, to find what works best for each individual. I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive trauma processing. I enjoy working with clients managing different forms of anxiety and OCD, depression, mood dysregulation, bipolar disorders, and traumatic childhood experiences.
