Therapeutic approach

I believe that each person brings a unique story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, and the challenges they’ve faced. My approach to therapy honors that individuality and creates space for self-discovery, healing, and growth. I see therapy as a collaborative process—you are the expert on your life, and I’m here to support and guide you as we explore what’s working, what’s not, and where you'd like to go.

I work with adolescents and adults who find themselves stuck—whether in relationships, life transitions, career shifts, or overcoming challenges of the past or present. I have a special passion for supporting women navigating pregnancy, infertility, and postpartum depression and anxiety. As both a therapist and a mother, I bring professional expertise and personal insight to my work.

My approach is individualized and relationship-centered, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I draw from various therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy, while also incorporating mindfulness strategies.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship distress, and issues unique to the LGBTQ+ population. I firmly believe in the importance of understanding how our past experiences and family dynamics shape who we are as unique individuals and I’m committed to providing a safe, affirming space for individuals of all races, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

If you are looking to get to the root of your struggles and create long-lasting change, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer a free fifteen-minute consultation to collaboratively discuss whether we’d be a good fit.
