Post-Doctoral Fellow

As a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin’s doctoral program in counseling psychology, I strive to provide a compassionate and individualized approach to psychotherapy and assessment. My ten years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings strengthened the core of my therapeutic approach: To see and appreciate the whole person, rather than simply a diagnosis.

I work with clients from adolescence into late adulthood, and am passionate about working with young adults. Having worked in settings ranging from counseling centers to inpatient hospitals, I am experienced in addressing a variety of concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, trauma therapy, PTSD counseling, and anxiety

My particular area of expertise is in working with trauma and grief. I am formally trained in a variety of modalities for the treatment of PTSD, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and depth oriented, somatic experiencing techniques. Additionally, I specialize in working with personality disorders and difficulties coping with emotions.

Lastly, an essential part of my work is in providing informative, integrative psychological assessment. I offer ADHD, learning disability, and personality assessments for adolescents and adults.
